Upon his arrival to Chicago founder of Stirnkorb.com, Kurt Stirnkorb, began work as a Cold Fusion developer for iGive.com, the online charity organization. iGive was among dozens of Internet-based companies under the umbrella of incubating giant Divine Interventures. When the proverbial bottom of the Internet dropped out in 2000, unfortunately, so did the bevy of incubated companies financially backed by Divine. But in a short time Kurt was able to perform solid dev on the primary site that still stands today - this time on its own without the assistance of Divine or anyone else.
